Fast Fresh Salsa

Not much is better for snacking than salsa, it’s healthy & delicious!  I don’t always have time to make fresh, but I’ve come up with a fast recipe that I can make in about 15 minutes with only 3 dishes to clean!  This recipe easily adapts to make as little or as much as you want.  & what’s great about salsa is, anything goes! So add more or less of any ingredient to make it your favorite or to get rid of leftover fruits & veggies.

Fast Fresh Salsa

  • 5-6 medium tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1/2 of a large white onion, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small to medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 a bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Sea Salt to taste
  • Optional, for medium salsa add 2 jalapeños, diced & seeds removed, if you want spicier salsa leave a few of the seeds
  1. Add all ingredients to large container that has a lid for storing in the fridge.
  2. Use kitchen shears to cut the ingredients (weird, but it works awesome!) until it is the right consistency for you, I like mine a little chunky!

Try with my homemade whole wheat tortilla chips!
